Me with the original Hart, Doudoroff and Greenbank apparatus that was given to me. The first ASTM standard method was based on this apparatus.
I am the tallest in the back row (lots of hair). I was a discussion initiation leader.
Photograph of my Stressed Ecosystems class at the University of Michigan Biological Station. The students wanted the picture to be taken at the Cheboygan, MI Municipal Waste Treatment Sludge Tank, which happened to be dry at the time. The class always had an annual picture taken.
Chemist, Faerie Lynn Carter and me (I was the team leader so I got to paddle the boat) on the James River, Virginia. Survey for the E. I. DuPont Spruance Works.
I am the one with no hat.
Accepting a check for the Aquatic Toxicology Research Building (I am the one with the white hair and a good grip on the check).
